This workshop will focus on slab-building using bisque molds to create unique pieces of pottery. Students will learn how to plan for the addition of new materials to your pottery and account for shrinkage. We will use the ancient technique of Terra Sigillata to achieve rich surface colors.
Expand your pots (or vessels) by adding basketry to your pots!
We will learn how to incorporate basketry into your pottery by learning random weave, twining and pine needle basket techniques.
