Over the course of this workshop, participants will engage in the making of vessel forms and or sculptural forms that cater to the creation of dynamic surface decorations. 

Through a variety of techniques ranging from inlay, stamping, paper masking, and image transfer processes, including screen printing, students will engage in creating complex and exciting surfaces from low tech and easily accessible avenues. 

We will explore how layering and creating dialogue through these techniques can be fun and advantageous to creating new visual vocabulary to approach your ceramic making.
