WORKSHOP: Exploring Mark Making and Surface Design
This workshop will explore different methods of mark making and surface design on pottery forms.
Kim and Chandra will cover strategies for generating ideas, developing form and approaching surface in their work. Kim will be demonstrating her newsprint transfers and Chandra will be demonstrating inlay and sgraffito. Decision making, color and composition will also be discussed. Get ready for a fun weekend full of laughter and creative adventure, guaranteed to be a blast!
In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to try guided hands-on exercises with both presenters.
