WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Join Morean Workshop Space for a creative journey crafting small sculptures that delve into your personal narrative, blending faces, flora, and fauna!
Under Taylor Robenalt's expert guidance, explore hand-building techniques like coil, pinch, and slab. Sculpt features, creatures, and plant life, each telling a unique story of emotion that can focus on memory, love, grief, etc.
First the class will construct a base, be it a head or an animal, to develop your narrative. Engage in discussions on crafting heads from coils, animals from pinch pots, flowers from slabs, and learn general assemblage.
Start each day with Taylor's demo, sharing studio practices and construction tips. Then the afternoons will offer hands-on guidance to bring your concepts to life.
